Out ‘N About In The Valley

My favourite way to spend summer days is exploring nature in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. On Sunday, took a few laps around Lake Dore launching at Biedermans Park. Water was beautiful for a swim. Spent my childhood summers camping there so it just feels like home. Monday, launched the boat at Round Lake Centre with a tour down the Bonnechere River to check out all the campsites at Bonnechere and do some wildlife viewing then off to Foy’s for a swim. Today wanted to tour the backroads of Wilno, Combermere and Barry’s Bay. Found a new swimming hole at Wadsworth Lake Beach near Barry’s Bay. Always something new to discover.
